Snow Tire Discounts
If you've ever had to stop quickly on snow or ice on all-season tires, you'll know why snow tires are recommended for driving in winter weather. Shorter stopping times, better grip and safer handling will let you enjoy winter driving, not dread it.
When buying winter tires, remember to:
- Install tires by November 1 and keep them on until April 1
- Look for tires marked with a logo of a peaked mountain with a snowflake
- Install winter tires in sets of four
- Do not mix tires with different tread patterns or size
- Change tires that are worn close to the tread-wear indicators
- Check the tires' air pressure at least once a month
