The Commonwell Mutual Insurance Group became The Commonwell on January 1, 2014 following an amalgamation between three legacy mutual insurance companies. They've been insuring and protecting a way of life that is common to us all for well over 100 years. While the company started in rural farm country, Commonwell Country has expanded over the years to include much of Ontario and focuses on what they refer to as smaller places and wide open spaces. The Commonwell is a mutual insurance company. Our policy-holders are members and have a say in shaping the company. It also means they believe in the win/win scenario: The Commonwell invests a share of profits back into the communities we call home and where you live.
