There are many options out there for auto insurance.  One option that you may not be aware of is the CAA MyPace, a pay-as-you-go insurance payment program.  CAA MyPace could provide you with the best way to pay, reduce and manage your auto insurance premiums if you drive less than 12,000km annually.

This pay-as-you go insurance payment program will put low mileage drivers in the driver’s seat. If you drive less than 12,000km annually, you could save money compared to a traditional auto insurance policy and you’ll enjoy the freedom to pay for insurance at the same pace you drive your vehicle.

The program is optional for anyone who drives less than 12,000km annually and includes the use of a telematics device. Anyone interested in the program can purchase insurance in 1000km increments, within a 12-month policy term thereby controlling their costs by driving less. You will be billed in 1000km increments in advance of using them. Notices will be sent when you have used 750km, 900km and 950km.  At 950km you will automatically be charged for your next 1000kms. The device monitors the kilometers and will alert you when each 1000km increment is close to being exhausted.

Contact us to find out more on how to get set up. There are four simple steps to enrol:

  1. Enroll in the CAA MyPace and pay your base rate plus your first 1,000km.
  2. Install the CAA MyPace device in your car.
  3. Download the CAA MyPace App to your smartphone or desktop. You can monitor your usage at any time by logging into your CAA Account.
  4. And lastly, just drive as little or often as you choose. Your next 1000km will automatically be reloaded for you.

It is important to note that CAA Insurance Company collects, uses, safeguards, discloses and retains the information transmitted by the device and how your insurance premium will be calculated and billed as part of the program. The data collected by CAA Insurance Company, will NOT be shared, disclosed, or transferred to any third party. CAA Insurance Company will not use the data to apply surcharges to your current or future auto insurance renewal.

Newman Insurance is pleased to be partnered with CAA Insurance Company to offer this amazing program. For more information call us at 1-800-653-1924 or visit our contact page.
